Part 5: Future Blueprints
Got few opinions when my last series was shown to couple of my friends. Some would said that my work looked spiritual and some said there was a sense of peace if longer observation, a mysterious world sort of like fantasy. Or even LSD felt at it. Please to know how they felt or responded to my work. Thank You. As my work, I would like to put it as icons or visual symbols that had not seen anywhere. (Sometimes a few of my icon do represent some animal or plants) It was entirely just doodling, with no planning at all or visualize in the head, spontaneously or sub-consciously just doodle. Then look at it on the next day which surprises me, how each icon was wonderful and mysterious in its own way.
Below will be some of my new works that I had experimented. It was drawn on a art pad then shot it digitally. Transfered to my computer and tested them in photoshop. I was surprise how it was looked. Wanted it to just create simple outlines on a flat one colour background as pattern wallpaper like. Instead... I called it 'mysterious blueprints for the future'. Sort of like archaeology for the past and this series will be Blueprints for the future. Enjoy.
Given title Civilization

This one looked like a bonzai plant

As for this one, titled Royalty
The gold outline give a Eastern royal symbol look to it

Did two pieces of artwork for the online calendar competition in Japan. One of the art gallery, open submission to everyone who're interested in participate for their annual 2007 calendar. Do check their site http://www.shift.jp.org/2007/en.shtml
And here is mine, Underneath and Resurrection
Underneath basically is about what is within, inside self. As you can see there're different possibility of individual spirituality. As for the black symbols represent activities, material as distraction in any form possible for reaching the inner self.

Resurrection as the title meant. And the visual shows a queen like face floating in mid air guiding her reproduction body of life where her two guards watching.

These series below was an experiment. Came across this haunting and sad song called 'Salt' by Mugison, an Icelandic singer and song-writer along side Bjork and Sigur Ros. Is about a child being drowned by her mother in the sea. The child had no clue why her mother did that. The lyrics was brilliantly written in poetic way such as "My name is salt. I'm the reason there's salt in the sea and I'm the reason there's salt in your tears. That's how I come back. Like boiling water everything will evaporate, dissolve and disappear. I'll be there as a taste on your cheek - so you can remember those that are gone."
Brilliant and the way this song was produce or executed is phenomenon. Using his sister voice to recite the words and in the middle, violins broke out as the mother sings. Inspired to do a dark piece on this song.
Came out this experiment using black paper and collection pen (Liquid paper) to draw.

Then continued this method for my work and here was the result.

I'll be going to Sydney to visit a friend and a holiday as well. Hopefully I can produce somemore work. Complete new environment for inspiration. For those who want to commission my work for anything, do send me an email. I'll be checking my email on day to day basis as usual.
